For takeout. Food was very good. Fast service.

Eaten there many times and they have always been good. Their soups are especially good.

My absolute favorite restaurant around!! Big plates for great prices. I'm obsessed with the chicken salad 😍 Everyone I've taken here has loved it, and my family has been going here for over 30 years. Everything I've tried on the menu has been a knockout.

This place has been in Oakdale forever! My mother ate there when she was pregnant with me 25 years ago! I think of this food as traditional Chinese food.

Try the chicken salad it will blow your mind it comes in a big portion to gots a old warm feel to the place also just a all around great experience

I Love this place. My favorite Chinese food ever !!!! I have never had a plate I did not like. Family owned and operated. Very friendly !!! I have a new love for their salad, but I give all there food a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ star !!! Lots of food. You will not leave hungry. Prices are great !!!!

This place is horrible. Food was gross waitress just put on the table and it fell over the sides and she just walked away. Got soup before getting drinks. Soup tasted like water down old chicken soup. I wouldn't go there again if they paid me. Need customer service training asap.

Always eat here and is upmost my FAVORITE PLACE. Quite atmosphere very friendly staff, VERY DELISIOUS FOOD EVERY TIME IDE EAT HERE ONCE A WEEK IF I DIDNT LIVE 35 miles away

Pearl Palace is place where I often stop when coming or going through Oakdale to or from Tuolumne county. The lunch specials are a great deal and come with a ton of food. If you're looking for a quick lunch on your way through Oakdale, Pearl Palace is highly recommended.

Good Chinese food. Specials are well priced. Not a busy restaurant, so it is easy to "social distance."

Food is good but customer service isn't the best. Guy doesnt reply back and walks away while you're talking to them

Just had their house combination chow mein and their sweet and sour pork. The best I've ever had in 56 years.

I have been going for 26yrs no kidding the food is always good. Chicken salad is excellent. Trying the food you will not be disappointed. Very small Restaurant. But it's worth IT!!!

I will go out of my way to eat food here, everything from the wonton soup to the chow mein to the chow fun holiday it was just amazing delicious the kind of Chinese food that you don't get anymore. I wish I could go more often but it's two towns away hahaha

The food was good and the service was prompt. Just wish there was a Chinese place in the area that did plates and not family style.

Good food at a reasonable price

Wonderful atmosphere! Easy to find, plenty of parking. Clean place, plenty of room for groups, lots of great food choices. Johnny is the best! The Hong Kong style chow mein is, hands down, the best I've ever had! I could eat it as a meal, just by itself. There are beef, chicken, pork, veggie & seafood dishes that are good too.

Been awhile since I've been here. Last time I went it was dirty.

30 years later this is still my favorite Chinese food in oakdale....this is a type of food that each person seems to really find a favorite for their personal taste, and John's is mine.

The food was great.But the place was very dusty inside.we went go back there as it needs a deep cleaning.

Staff is always very friendly and have a great memory as far as what we always order. Service is quick and inexpensive.

When you walk into a restaurant at lunch time and there's nobody in there that's a clue lunch specials 4.95 about dollars worth was all I could stand. I gave him one star because I because Google won't let me go any lower.

Worst Chinese food I've ever! had small portions on the combo plate my husband asked for hot sauce and the man there didn't want to give him more than one even though we ordered 3 plates and the sauce taste like raisins more than chili. Flavor was bland.

Good food , dining experience not so much

The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. We never had to ask for a thing and our water glasses were always filled. Don't judge this place by it's exterior -- you'd never even find it. The inside is lovely! Can't wait to go back!

This has to be the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten, at least in the last 10 years. The rice is OK at best but everything else taste totally off of what it should be. China House was closed so I thought I’d try it. Bad decision.... Do not waste your money!

We were trying to find a good place to eat with some good veggie options and happened to see this place on the map. They have 4.5 stars for a good reason. Extremely reasonably priced (less than $20 for two meals and an appetizer to share) and wonderful Chinese food options for all palates. We were both vegetarians so this worked out perfectly. It looks incredibly sketchy from the outside, but it's just a little old. Inside was fairly warm and welcoming. I'll be returning here after my next back packing trip as well.

Stopped by this restaurant at Oakdale on the way back from Yosemite. What a pleasant find thanks to yelp. The mostly Cantonese food was freshly made with "Wok Aroma", quoted from the friendly chef. The atmosphere was very Asian and appealing. Food was great; service was nice.

The worst Chinese food ever. Ordered 4 meals, complained about all the dishes except for the rice. Left all the food mainly untouched. Owner/staff weren't interested.
